Doris Garza
Doris J. Garza serves as the Chief of Aviation Maintenance for the Autonomy Research Institute (ARI) in Corpus Christi, Texas. Doris is a member of the Maintenance and Logistics team where her tasks involve the upkeep of UAS systems, assisting in the logistical planning of equipment and supplies for missions.
Prior to working with ARI, Doris was employed with the Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD), where she worked as an Aircraft Mechanic. During her time with CCAD she specialized in a wide range of maintenance work on aircraft systems, sub-systems and their components pertaining to the UH-60 Blackhawk Helicopters. Prior to working at CCAD Doris was employed with Holt Cat Inc. under the Power Systems Division(Custom Engine & Generator Packaging) as a Service Coordinator II.
Doris graduated from Del Mar College in Corpus Christi, Texas with an Associates of Applied Science for Aviation Maintenance, Airframe and Power Plant and a Level 2 Certificate for Aviation Maintenance-Airframe Applied Technician.
Doris currently holds a FAA Mechanic Certification with an Airframe rating.
