Walter Mills
Walter Mills is an Aviation Maintenance Technician II for the Autonomy Research Institute (ARI) in Corpus Christi Texas. Walter is a member of the Maintenance and Logistics team where his tasks involve the upkeep of UAS systems and assisting in the logistical planning of equipment and supplies for missions.
Prior to working with ARI, Walter was involved in multiple maintenance and logistic projects including being the head maintainer for the South Texas Commemorative Airforce group for 6 years. Projects involving the reconstruction, maintenance, and retrofit of antique aircraft and ground assets, organizing the transport of aircraft and ground assets to events across the country, and record keeping of equipment use.
Along with the maintenance and logistics experience Walter has had experience managing a night crew for a CVS Health retail and distribution center. While working as swing manager at the CVS location Walter developed a loss prevention system that reduced store losses by over 60 percent. Walter also supervised the flight line crew at South Most aviation civil aviation terminal in Brownsville Texas.
Walter graduated form the Texas State Technical College in Harlingen Texas with an Associates of applied science for Aviation Maintenance; Airframe and Powerplant.
