How to get your SandDollar$ ID Card

The SandDollar$ ID Card is the university's identification card issued to students, faculty, staff, and partnered affiliates. It is a photo ID that is used for a variety of things, such as building access, entry into on-campus events, meal memberships, and dining dollars. When linked to a Wells Fargo Everyday Account your SandDollar$ ID Card can also be used as a debit card on and off-campus.

How Do I get my SandDollar$ ID Card?

• First-year students-Attend an Islander Launch
• Transfer & International students-Be admitted and registered for classes at TAMU-CC.
• Distance Education (Students residing outside Nueces County)- Request ID via E-mail to sanddollar@tamucc.edu.
• Accept Terms and Conditions and Submit Photo
• Make sure mailing address is up-to-date on your S.A.I.L account.

First-year students will receive their SandDollar$ ID Card by completing an Islander Launch session.  Once, the session has been completed, students will then be able to submit a photo online. Terms and Conditions for SandDollar$ card must be accepted first before the student can submit their photo.

Students that do not submit a photo online, can come in person to the Sanddollar Services office to have their photo taken.

Transfer and International students can receive their SandDollar$ ID Card once they are officially registered for classes at TAMU-CC. **Admittance alone to TAMU-CC does not qualify you for a card. Once registration is complete, stop by the SandDollar Services Center located at the University Center #120, during our hours of operation.

Distance Education Students may request a SandDollar$ ID Card by sending a request to sanddollar@tamucc.edu. In the request please include the following information: name as it appears in the official TAMU-CC S.A.I.L account, A#, mailing address, TAMU-CC E-mail address, and contact number.

Faculty and Staff may pick their SandDollar$ ID located in the University Center 120. Faculty and Staff must have either Human Resources, current department head, or immediate Supervisor.  E-mail the request to sanddollar@tamucc.edu. SandDollar$ ID may be picked up in the SandDollar$ Office during normal business hours.
