Students transferring from another university 

Undergraduate admission to TAMU-CC Online requires:

  • a minimum of 30 transferable hours
  • 2.0 GPA or higher
  • TSI complete status

What credits will transfer? 

If you are core complete at another Texas public college or university, you will be considered core complete at TAMU-CC. A maximum of 90 credit hours can be applied to a 120-credit hour bachelor’s degree at the university. 

All transcripts of prior learning should be submitted. 

What you need to apply as an undergraduate: 

  • ApplyTexas application 
  • $40 application fee  
  • Official college transcripts from every accredited institution you have attended. 
  • Any other items requested by the Office of Admissions based on application answers.

Transfer Information Sessions

We offer online Transfer Information Sessions that are led by one of our Admission Counselors. These virtual sessions are available to students that are interested in attending our campus locations. Our Online Transfer Information Sessions are led by one of our admission counselors. During the session, we will review TAMU-CC transfer requirements, programs offered, frequently asked questions, academic advising, financial aid, scholarships and more. These virtual sessions are available to students that are interested in attending any of our campus locations. 

Academic Advising

Academic Advising Guides are available for each program offered at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. The guides enable you to choose courses that will apply to your degree at TAMU-CC while attending another institution.
