Family Nurse Practitioner Certification

Summer Intake Only

• Application opens: 3^rd Monday of October

• Application closes: 3^rd Friday of March

• Admissions decisions: Rolling or 4^th Monday of April

The Family Nurse Practitioner Certification program uses a rolling admission process during the admissions cycle. However, we encourage students to apply early. This will allow for enough time to also apply for and qualify for federal student aid and scholarships. Applications will not be reviewed until all required materials have been submitted and received. The college reserves the right to defer admission in the case of low enrollment. Students will be notified and given options if a selected program is not offered.

• An applicant may defer admission to an earlier/later semester. Applications are valid for one year. One deferral is allowed per application.

Application fee:

• $50 for US citizen, $70 for International Students
  • Pay during application process
  • Pay fee online: Pay Online
  • Pay fee on campus to Business Office

Please Note: Applicants who wish to apply for a different program will be required to submit a new application. The application processing fee is required for each application submitted.

Submit supporting documents at links provided:

• Official transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate course work taken at any accredited college or University attended. Official transcripts must be sent directly to Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi from the granting institutions. (Foreign College credits/transcripts require an official foreign evaluation. Please click here). TAMU-CC transcript is not required.
• Complete the CONHS GRADUATE Form
• Three letters of recommendation CONHS Reference Form
• Submit a copy of a current valid unencumbered Texas Nursing License
• Submit a Personal Statement/Essay
• Submit a CV/Resume
