The Code Blue Emergency Notification System, is a comprehensive alert system which can connect with students, faculty and staff during emergency situations. The notifications include emails, text and pre-recorded messages. Emergencies can include severe weather warnings, threats, school closures, evacuations and other incidents which disrupt regular campus activities.

If there is reason to believe that a student that resides on-campus is missing, please immediately notify the University Police Department (UPD) at 361-825-4444. If a student that resides off campus is reported missing to university personnel, UPD will notify the proper law enforcement agency, as soon as reasonably possible, and assist with the investigation.

The TAMU-CC Campus Security and Fire Safety report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning fires reported at student housing and reported crimes that occurred on-campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by TAMU-CC; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus. The report also includes institutional policies concerning campus security, sexual assault, and other matters.

Student Emergency Aid Fund is to provide limited, last resort, financial assistance to currently enrolled students who are experiencing a serious financial hardship due to a sudden emergency, accident, or unforeseen event that requires additional emergency monetary assistance in order to support their ability to stay enrolled and focused on their academic career.

Corpus Christi is home to some of the most beautiful beaches the Coastal Bend has to offer. Islander are encouraged to be vigilant about dangers at the beach such as rip currents.
